29 CFR 1910.140(c)(18): Personal fall protection systems were not inspected before initial use during each work shift for mildew, wear, damage, and other deterioration, and defective components must be removed from service. On or about June 7, 2017, at 2081 Eatonton Road, Madison, Georgia, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of 15 feet by failing to inspect personal fall arrest systems prior to use when handling caustic and corrosive chemicals to wash and inspect the top and insides of trailers.
