29 CFR 1910.305(b)(2)(i): Each outlet box in completed installations did not have a cover, faceplate, or fixture canopy: a) Planer Mill - First chain on the stacker; On or about May 24, 2017 and at times prior thereto, the employer exposed employees to electrical hazards in that employees were allowed to walk/work around a motor connection box with a missing cover which exposed the electrical conductors. b) Planer Mill - Near the planer; On or about May 24, 2017 and at times prior thereto, the employer exposed employees to electrical hazards in that employees were required to walk/work around a motor connection box with a missing cover which exposed the electrical conductors. c) Saw Mill - near the incline belt from the head rig; On or about May 24, 2017 and at times prior thereto, the employer exposed employees to electrical hazards in that employees were required to walk/work around a motor connection box with a missing cover which exposed the electrical conductors. Dudley Lumber Company, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.305(b)(2)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 934646, citation number 2, item number 5 and was affirmed as a final order on March 4, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 8575 Hwy 280 East, Salem AL.
