Text For Citation: 02 Item/Group: 002 Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i)(B): Affected employees were not instructed in the purpose and use of the energy control procedure: a) Saw Mill; On or about May 24, 2017 and at times prior thereto the employer exposed employees to potentially hazard energy sources in that employees were not provided training in lock out tag out as an affected employee which explained the purpose and use of energy control procedures on equipment. Dudley Lumber Company, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.147(c)(7)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 934646, citation number 1, item number 5 and was affirmed as a final order on March 4, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 8575 Hwy 280 East, Salem AL.
