Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
OSH Act of 1970 Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to fires and explosions during acid and water flushing operations of natural gas wells: a. On or about February 16, 2017, and at times prior to, at Krebbs1-17H at the Davenport Well Pad, an employee was exposed to explosion and fire while opening a master valve to attempt to restart flow of a natural gas well which had deterioration in a gasket, flanges, and tubing.
