29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(iii): Employee training did not include the measures employees can take to protect themselves from chemical hazards, including specific procedures the employer had implemented to protect employees from exposure to hazardous chemicals, such as appropriate work practices, emergency procedures and personal protective equipment to be used: a. On or about 2/07/17 - Automotive/PE-X Lab, employee training did not address specific work practice controls such as the assurance of fume hood operation throughout testing, the physical hazards associated with the use of xylene, a flammable liquid, and the actions to take in the event of a malfunction of the fume hood and/or a chemical spill.
