29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i)(A): Authorized employee(s) did not receive training in the recognition of applicable hazardous energy sources, the type and magnitude of the energy available in the workplace, and the methods and means necessary for energy isolation: a) Production floor; On or about January 18, 2017 and at times prior thereto, the employer failed to provide employees with the training that would give them the knowledge, skills, and abilities to recognize the hazards associated with equipment, identify the energy sources present, and the methods that should be used to isolate the energy sources on these pieces of equipment. Employees are required to perform servicing and maintenance on multi-energy sourced equipment (including but not limited to blow molds and injection molding machines).
