29 CFR 1910.333(a)(2): Where exposed live parts were not deenergized, other safety related work practices were not used to protect employees who could be exposed to the electrical hazards involved: The employer is failing to protect employees from electrical shock, burns and arc flash hazards by not implementing safety related work practices. This was most recently documented on December 13, 2016 at 4:30am at 580 7th St. Omaha Nebraska. The employer is failing to ensure that employee(s) engaged in work around electrical equipment utilized safe work practices. An employee was seriously injured when an arc flash occurred when he was working on or in close proximity to live electrical switch gear. The employer failed to ensure that safety related work practices were implemented to protect the employee(s) from potential electric shock or an arc flash incident.
