29 CFR 1910.132(a): Protective equipment was not used when necessary whenever hazards capable of causing injury and impairment were encountered On or about August 23, 2016, employees were not using personal protective equipment such as respirators, protective eye wear and hand protection when cutting and polishing the granite. The employer did not enforce the use of such personal protective equipment. This condition exposed employees to safety and health hazards.
