29 CFR 1926.600(a)(6): All equipment covered by this subpart did not comply with the following requirements when working or being moved in the vicinity of power lines or energized transmitters, except where electrical distribution and transmission lines have been deenergized and visibly grounded at point of work or where insulating barriers, not a part of or an attachment to the equipment or machinery, have been erected to prevent physical contact with the lines: The employer is failing to protect employees from electrocution hazards when working near energized power lines. This was most recently documented on or about August 12, 2016, in Andover, Kansas, where at least 10 feet of clearance was not maintained between a Sky Power 600 SJ --- serial #0300076581 JLG aerial lift and unprotected energized overhead power lines. 29 CFR 1903.19(d)(1) requires certification and documentation that the abatement of the above violation is complete.
