Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The %% employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: (a) T682 100 ft. North of T707 Fairview Township, Butler County, Jarraff Equip #749-4502; Employees were exposed to hazards associated with the operation and maintenance of the Jarraff in that the manufacturer's operation and maintenance manual was not available for reference. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to obtain a copy of the manufacturer's manual and keep the manual with the crew (operating/maintaining the Jarraff) at all times.
