Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The %% employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in the form of cables coming loose from the wire rope eye connection and striking employees that were exposed to: ALONG COLUMN LINES 14-G-F AND 13-14-G, 3/8" AND 1/2" GUY/PLUMBING UP CABLES, UNDER TENSION, HAVING ONLY ONE AND TWO CROSBY CLIPS INSTALLED RESPECTIVELY WHERE TWO AND THREE WERE CALLED FOR BY THE MANUFACTURER. ONE FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE METHOD OF ABATEMENT WOULD BE TO FOLLOW THE MANUFACTURER'S RECOMMENDED "WARNINGS AND INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS.
