29 CFR 1910.212(b): Machine(s) designed for fixed location(s) were not securely anchored to prevent walking or moving. On or about 29 January 2016, and at times prior thereto, various pedestal machines within the plant were not anchored to the floor to prevent walking, moving, or tipping over, exposing employees to the hazard of being struck by moving or falling machines. A) Maintenance Shop: On 29 January 2016, a Milwaukee Bench Grinder had been modified and mounted to a pedestal stand, which was not anchored to the floor. B) Maintenance Shop: On 29 January 2016, a Dayton 16 Inch Drill Press, Model 4CY86, was used during the inspection without being anchored to the floor. C) Assembly Area: On 28 January 2016, a pedestal Jet Drill Press was used on a line without being anchored to the floor.
