29 CFR 1910.269(a)(2)(i)(A): Employee(s) were not trained in, and familiar with, the safety-related work practices, safety procedures, and other safety requirements in this section that pertain to his or her job assignments. Sabine Pass LNG Plant, Load Bank #6: On or about November 9, 2015, the employer did not ensure that employee(s) performing maintenance and inspection on an Avtron Model K922 outdoor resistive load bank were adequately trained in the safety related work practices, procedures and skills needed pertaining to the job and the associated risk. Safety related work practices, procedures and skills include, but are not limited to, the recognition of electrical hazards and the techniques necessary to control or avoid these hazards. On in the alternative: 29 CFR 1910.332(b)(1): Employees were not trained in and familiar with the safety-related work practices required by 1910.331 through 1910.335 that pertained to their respective job assignments. On or about November 9, 2015, the employer did not ensure that employee(s) performing maintenance and inspection on an Avtron Model K922 outdoor resistive load bank were adequately trained in the safety related work practices, procedures and skills needed pertaining to the job and the associated risk. Safety related work practices, procedures and skills include, but are not limited to, the recognition of electrical hazards and the techniques necessary to control or avoid these hazards.
