29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(i): The employer shall ensure that each powered industrial truck operator is competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely, as demonstrated by the successful completion of the training and evaluation specified in this paragraph (l): a. On or about November 25, 2015, at the above addressed jobsite, employees were operating a powered industrial vehicle (Caterpillar TL1055D, Caterpillar TL1255C) during steel erection operations. The operators of the powered industrial trucks did not complete the required training and evaluation specified in paragraph (l).
