29 CFR 1910.266(i)(10)(i): The employer did not verify compliance with paragraph (i) of this section by preparing a written certification record containing the name or other identity of the employee trained, the date(s) of the training, and the signature of the trainer. On or about September 2, 2015, off All Saints Church Road in Pelican, LA, an employer allowed his employee (the skidder operator) working in a crew thinning a logging tract to perform his duties without documenting and certifying that the training provided to the employee was adequate.
