29 CFR 1910.37(a)(4): Safeguard(s) designed to protect employees during an emergency (e.g., sprinkler systems, alarm systems, fire doors, exit lighting), were not in proper working order at all times. Main Camp, Road Crew, Bay Seven: On or about 22 June 2015 and times prior thereto, the emergency exit light was inoperative. This exposed employees to delays in exiting the building causing smoke inhalation and fire hazards. The National Park Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1910.37(a)(4), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 559139, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 01 October 2012, with respect to a workplace located at the Eielson Visitor's Center.
