Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: (a) Energized parts when installing electrical display signs and fluorescent lighting fixtures, on or about 6/4/91 at 6353 Cottage Hill Rd., Mobile, AL. The employer did not train or familiarize his employees in the safety related work practices required in 1910.331 through 1910.335. NOTE: AMONG OTHER METHODS, ONE FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE ABATEMENT METHOD TO CORRECT THIS HAZARD IS TO FOLLOW THE TRAINING SECTION OF 1910.332(b)(1).
