Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that the employer failed to ensure the use of the fuse handling equipment, suitably insulated for circuit voltage when terminals are energized, in accordance with NFPA 70E, Part II, Chapter 1. a) Peachtree 25th Building - 6th floor South Tower - Electrical Closet - Fuse handling equipment, suitably insulated for circuit voltage, was not used to removed or install fuses if the fuse terminals are energized. Feasible and acceptable method of abatement includes but is not limited to ensuring the use of fuse handling equipment, suitably insulated insulated for circuit voltage, or fully de-energizing the electrical system prior to removing or installing fuses.
