29 CFR 1904.7(b)(3): When the employee is out for an extended period of time, the employer did not enter an estimate of the days that the employee was away, and did not update the day count when the actual number of days was known: On or about March 25, 2015, the employer did not accurately record the following workplace injury and illness on the OSHA 300 Log for calendar year 2014: a) Call Scene - On or about December 19, 2014, case number 50, an EMT employee reported experiencing a back injury when lifting a patient with another employee. The injury involved days away from work. The employer did not update the day count when the actual number of days was known.
