OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that caused or were likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to crushing and/or struck-by hazards while employees were operating motorized equipment: At the job site of 3852 S. Broadway, Wichita, KS 67216, Chrisman's Truck & Auto Salvage employees operating equipment were exposed to crushing and/or struck-by hazards in that the training program did not include formal instructions related to the safe operation of the 621-C Case loader. One feasible and acceptable methods to abate this hazard is to train operators on the use and limitations of front end loaders.
