29 CFR 1926.960(c)(1)(iii)(A): The employer did not ensure that no employee approaches or takes any conductive object closer to exposed energized parts than the employer's established minimum approach distance unless the employee is insulated from the energized part (rubber insulating gloves and sleeves worn in accordance with paragraph (c)(2) of this section constitutes insulation): a) 6533 Interchange Rd., Lehighton, PA: On or about October 27, 2014, the employer failed to ensure employees in the process of installing lightning arrestors on an energized 69KV power line were using personal protective equipment (PPE), including rubber insulating gloves and sleeves, exposing them to an electrocution hazard. Abatement Certification and Documentation Required.
