29 CFR1910.179 (j)(3) :The items listed in subparagraphs (j)(3)(i) and (j)(3)(x) were not inspected for defects at intervals as defined in paragraph(j)(1)(ii) of this section or as specifically indicated, and all deficiencies were not carefully examined and a determination made as to whether they constituted a safety hazard. a) 1100 Sixth Avenue, Neptune, NJ: Overhead cranes used to move the linens from the washers to the extractors were not inspected for defects on a monthly or yearly basis, observed on or about 6/26/13. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
