29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8): The employer shall maintain in the workplace copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical, and shall ensure that they are readily accessible during each work shift to employees when they are in their work area(s). (Electronic access and other alternatives to maintaining paper copies of the safety data sheets are permitted as long as no barriers to immediate employee access in each workplace are created by such options.) a) Sewer Solutions located at 1374 Yates Street, Denver, CO 80204: On and Preceding September 20th, 2018, the employer did not maintain copies of the required safety data sheets (SDS) for each hazardous chemical in the workplace. The employees can use materials, such as but not limited, to the following: (1) The employees used gasoline and epoxy resin material used in the Perma Liner inversion machine to line sewer pipe. These materials can expose employees to skin and respiratory hazards. Sewer Solutions, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent 29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1014978, citation number 1, Item 2/b, issued February 20, 2015 and became a final order on March 17, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 1470 Lehigh Street, Boulder, CO 80305.
