29 CFR 1910.178(c)(2)(v): Power-operated industrial trucks designated as DS, ES, GS, or LPS were not used in locations used for the storage of hazardous liquids in sealed containers or liquefied or compressed gases in containers (Reference 29 CFR 1910.178(c)): (a) Location - 15 Shelley Road, Haverhill, MA: On or about May 20, 2021, the Crown Work Assist Vehicle (WAV), an E designated power-operated industrial truck, was permitted to be operated within the flammable liquids warehouse and within the shipping and receiving areas of the facility. Thermo Fisher Scientific, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of an equivalent Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1910.178(c)(2)(iv), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1463976, citation number 1, item number 1a and was affirmed as a final order on June 5, 20201, with respect to a workplace located at 30 Bond Street, Haverhill, MA 01830.
