29 CFR 1910.146(g)(1): The employer did not provide training so that all employees whose work was regulated by 29 CFR 1910.146 (permit required confined spaces) acquired the understanding, knowledge, and skills necessary for the safe performance of the duties assigned under 29 CFR 1910.146: (a) Elkins Distilling Company, LLC, dba Elkins Distilling Co., at 1825 North Lake Avenue, Estes Park, CO: On and preceding 2/27/2021, the employer did not provide permit required confined space entry training. Employees entered the stripping still to perform maintenance. The stripping still was a permit required confined space. Employees had not received permit space entry training. This condition exposed employees to a permit required confined space hazard.
