29 CFR 1926.1053(a)(19): Where the total length of a climb on a fixed ladder equaled or exceeded 24 feet (7.3 m), the fixed ladder was not equipped with either: (i) a ladder safety device; (ii) self-retracting lifelines, and rest platforms at intervals not to exceed 150 feet (45.7 m); or (iii) A cage or well, and multiple ladder sections, each ladder section not to exceed 50 feet (15.2 m) in length. a) Building roof, gravity water tank: Employees were exposed to a fall of approximately 35 feet while accessing a fixed ladder to the top of a water tank. Employees did not have fall protection. On or about 01/14/15. 1st REPEAT Rosenwach Tank Co. LLC WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD, ITS EQUIVALENT, OR ESSENTIALLY SIMILAR STANDARD, 29 CFR 1926.1053(a)(19), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 316069038, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 6, ISSUED ON 12/08/2011 WITH A FINAL ORDER DATE OF 05/17/2012.
