29 CFR 1910.147(f)(2)(i): When outside servicing personnel are to be engaged in activities covered by the scope and application of this standard, the on-site employer and the outside employer did not inform each other of their respective lockout or tagout procedures: a) EAF system: On or about June 2, 2014 and at times prior thereto, the employer and host site did not inform each other of their respective Control of Hazardous Energy (lockout tagout) program and procedures to protect employees from thermal and chemical hazards associated with the inadvertent startup of the EAF system while employees still in the drop out box of the EAF exhaust system.
