29 CFR 1910.1030(d)(2)(i): Engineering and work practice controls were not used to eliminate or minimize employees exposure: (a) Dental Cllinic, Dirty Instrument Area: On or about June 27, 2013 and at times prior thereto, employee was observed "rolling" contaminated dental sharps on a drying towel with an open hand. This condition exposed the employee to puncture injuries from contaminated sharps and exposure to bloodborne pathogens including Hepatitis B and HIV.
