29 CFR 1904.39(a)(2): The employer did not report within 24-hours a work-related incident resulting in in-patient hospitalization, amputation or the loss of an eye. Children's National Medical Center at 111 Michigan Avenue, NW 20010: (a) On or about April 6, 2022: An employee that was hospitalized because of a work related injury on April 4 was not reported by the employer until April 6, 2022. An Equipment Technician was pricked in her left palm, by a clean Butterfly needle, lead to an infection causing the employee to be hospitalized. No abatement certification or documentation required for this item.
