Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to the potential hazard of being crushed by a automotive lift: a/ Inside the shop area, operator training for the Rotary Single-Post In-Ground Hydraulic Lift located in Bays #2 and #3 was not documented. One method of abatement to correct this apparent hazard is to document operator training as required by ANSI/ALI ALOIM-2008, Standard for Automotive Lifts, paragraph 4.3.
