29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i): The employer did not provide adequate training to ensure that the purpose and function of the energy control program was understood by employees: a. On or about October 4, 2017, in the red meat cutting area, employees were required to change blades on the bandsaws. The employer did not provide effective training to each authorized employee to include all of the elements in (a) through (c), thereby exposing employees to unexpected re-energization of equipment.
