Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Employees setting twenty-three (23) 71'4" prefabricated wood trusses were exposed to the hazard of being struck by the falling trusses resulting from inadequate bracing. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct the hazard is to consult with a registered professional engineer to determine the bracing requirements in accordance with the Truss Plate Institute instructions and by progressively installing the bracing as the trusses are set. ***Certification and Documentation of Abatement Required***on
