29 CFR 1910.66(i)(1)(ii)(A): All employees who operate working platforms shall be trained in the recognition of, and preventive measures for, the safety hazards associated with their individual work tasks. (a) On or about December 9, 2020, a contractor employee was not trained to recognize the hazards of the overhead piping that was part of the ammonia refrigeration process, while the employee was working on a self-powered platform ( JLG Scissor Lift Model 2632ES Serial number 0200248875) to replace light fixtures located on the ceiling in the ammonia mechanical room.
