OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees from crushing injuries: a) On or about July 8, 2020, and at times prior thereto, workers engaged in the handling and transfer of large format porcelain tiles weighing approximately 250 pounds each from a wooden storage A-frame to a metal display A-frame. Workers were exposed to crushing, pinned-by and struck-by hazards as shipping straps were removed without additional bracing or support straps.
