29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that was 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level was protected from falling by one or more of the following: Guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. At the facility located at 2201 Hwy 75 N, Sherman, Texas; in the warehouse. employees elevated on a stock picker without fall protection approximately 12 feet stocking ottomans and chairs on racks were expose to fall hazards. The employer did not ensure employees wore fall protection or were protected by other means while working from the stock picker.
