29 CFR 1910.147(d)(4)(i): Lockout or tagout devices were not affixed to each energy isolating device by authorized employees: (a) Floor; maintenance tasks such as but not limited to replacing bearings on DCBS 990 Series letter sorting machines, machine nos. 4 and 6, are performed without powering down and locking out the machine. The U.S. Postal Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.147(d)(4)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 974268, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on October 28, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 3232 Denmark Ave., Eagan, MN.
