Employee Fractures Foot In Operating Machinery

At approximately 2:00 p.m. on May 24, 2006, Employee #1 and a coworker were cleaning construction machinery (Pug mill). Employee #1 was within the Pug mill and stood near to the mixer shafts, when his foot became caught in its rotating parts. He was transported to a medical center. At the hospital, he received medical attention for his foot injuries, which included fractures, and was hospitalized for four weeks
