Investigation Summary
At 6:30 p.m. on April 20, 2020, an employee was putting together an order of 40-foot-long trusses. The employee needed to open another bundle of trusses to complete his order. He had his forklift set up with the mast raised up to catch the top of the truss to move it over to the bundle he was putting together. As he cut the banding on the truss, the wind blew the trusses over onto the employee. The employee was hospitalized to treat injuries to his head and upper body.
