Employee fractures leg in fall from flatbed truck

At approximately 6:30 a.m. on September 11, 2002, Employee #1, a farm worker for Vincent B. Zaninovich & Sons, was unloading empty grape boxes from a flatbed truck when he lost his balance and fell off the back of the bed. He suffered a fractured left knee and was transported to the Delano (CA) Regional Medical Center, where he was admitted for treatment.
