Abstract: On February 10, 2010, Employee #1, a greenskeeper for a golf course and property management company, was unloading a lawn mower from its transport trailer. The mower rolled back, and his left pinky was caught between the side of the trailer and a mower wheel. The initial diagnosis was a crushing/laceration injury that was treated at a clinic. After two days, the diagnosis changed, requiring the finger tip to be amputated. Thus, on February 12, 2010, the injury changed status to "serious" from "treated and released."
