Abstract: At approximately 12:04 p.m. on November 6, 2010, Employee #1 was working for his employer, a residential framing contractor. Employee #1 was working as a framer and was standing on some trusses. There was scaffolding erected approximately 2 to 3 feet away from the trusses, and this scaffolding was part of the fall protection system installed around the perimeter of the building. Employee #1 jumped from the trusses to the scaffolding, and fell approximately 10 to 20 feet to the ground below, and broke his wrist. Employee #1 was airlifted to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek, CA for treatment.
