Abstract: On November 20, 1998, an injury accident occurred at a single-family-home construction site in Encino, California. Employee #1, a painter, was working from a metal extension ladder placed on a metal scaffold work platform with wood planking. The scaffold tipped over and Employee #1 and the ladder fell about 10 feet to the ground. Fire Department paramedics transported him to nearby Encino Hospital for emergency treatment. He was later transferred to Northridge Hospital where he was hospitalized.
