Abstract: At approximately 4:25 p.m. on September 9, 2003, an employee was working on an unsecured platform located on the second floor of a commercial building under construction. He was removing the cathead from the building. The area in which he was working was taped off as a dangerous area and not to go beyond the tape. The employee was the one who installed this danger tape and still went under it to perform the work. He fell 14 ft to the ground. The employee sustained a fractured wrist and bruised ribs. The employee was treated and released from the hospital Emergency Room that evening.
