Abstract: At approximately 11:00 a.m. on October 27, 2005, Employee #1, a carpenter, was atop a 4-inch wide top-plate of an interior 2-inch by 4-inch studded wall that was nine feet high. He was standing the trusses for the roofing system, slipped off the top-plate, and fell onto the concrete floor. Employee #1 was taken to the Madera Community Hospital, where he was required to have surgery on his fractured left leg.
