Abstract: Employee #1 was carrying a pneumatic nail gun, model NR 83A, as he began to climb a ladder at the front entrance of a new home under construction. He was changing his grip from one hand to the other, and had his finger on the trigger, when the bump safety caught on the nail bags and the gun discharged. He sustained a puncture wound to his right leg and a fractured femur.
