Abstract: On January 24, 1994, Employee #1, of NPR-1 well #934-29R, Elk Hills, Bakersfield, CA, was driving a pin out of the bridle line stand of rig #182. His finger was caught between a bolt head and the frame of the stand. The end of his right index finger was amputated. He was taken to Westside Hospital, Taft, and then to Memorial Hospital, Bakersfield, for treatment.
