Abstract: At 2:00 p.m. on March 25, 2020, Employee #1 was working for a concrete construction contractor. Employee #1 was repairing an underground conduit when the unprotected wall of the excavation collapsed. Employee #1 fell approximately 8 feet to the bottom of the trench and was subsequently trapped underneath the soil material. Employee #1 suffered injuries to the knee and was hospitalized.
