At 01:16 p.m. on June 23, 2019, an employee was cleaning out the tortilla frying machine, J&C series 101, model SCTF, with their hand using a paper towel. The e mployee cleaned a conveyer belt guide at the product output of a Tortilla frying machine without stopping and disengaging the machine or placing an accident pre vention on the controls. As a result, the employee sustained an amputation of th e right middle finger when their hand came into contact with the moving conveyer belt guide. The employee was treated for sustained injuries but was not hospita lized. On August 06, 2019, CSHO arrived on site and opened the inspection with t he store manager.
