At 11:30 a.m. on July 18, 2018, an employee was removing a pallet from a rack sy stem using a reach truck forklift. The employee backed away from the storage ra ck and accelerated too quickly while backing away and turning. The employee dro ve the forklift into an adjacent rack system column and was pinned between the c olumn and the forklift, fracturing his pelvis. The employee was hospitalized.
