We have a long time employee who had a positive reaction to a mantoux for the first time this year (she has worked for us several years). We have no knowledge of this employee being exposed to active TB in the workplace. As yet the employee has not contracted TB. Is this recordable on the OSHA log?
No. There has to be occupational exposure to someone with a known case of active tuberculosis (TB) to establish work-relationship.
